Since 1978, Whetstone Company has built a portfolio of properties in the Mid-Atlantic region, with operations in Northern Virginia, Baltimore, West Virginia, and New Mexico.

The daily supervision of property operations is directed by experienced regional property managers. While they ensure that our standard policies and procedures are effectively administered, they also seek to identify and address each property’s unique needs.

Whetstone Company also believes in reaching out to and assisting community organizations and non-profits. We have been regular supporters of the Boys and Girls Clubs; cancer awareness and cancer fundraisers including Walk for the Cure; the Lido Civic Club of Washington, D.C.; Hospice Caring; and numerous affordable housing and non-profit organizations. We have also supported various camp and scholarship programs for residents in our communities.
